Diametric Dimension

Getting Started 

Diametric dimensions are used for measuring the diameter or chord of a circle or ellipse and showing it with a leader lines.

In hsCADView, a diametric dimension entity consists of the following data in addition to the Entity Common Data and the Dimension Common Data:

Text Override

Text

<> means no text override and the measured distance will be displayed. Change this value to display desired text instead of distance.

Rotate Text

Scientific Data

The rotation of dimension's text.

Near Chord Point

3D Point (X, Y, Z coordinates)

The near chord point on circumference of ellipse or circle.

Far Chord Point

3D Point (X, Y, Z coordinates)

The far chord point on circumference of ellipse or circle.

Offset Point

3D Point (X, Y, Z coordinates)

The point for offset of text in the radial dimension.

Leader Length

Real Number

The length of leader line.

 

 

In hsCADView the above properties are shown in the Selection Property Tree when a diametric dimension entity is selected using the Selection Tool.
