Manage Plot Settings Tool

Getting Started 

Manage Plot Settings Tool is used to create/edit/delete Plot Setting Objects.

 

mouse_20 Using the Manage Plot Settings Tool:

Find the Manage Plot Settings Tool icon ssManagePlotSettings on the Library Toolbar (color coded peach) and Click on the tool. The manage dialog will show up and for the editing of plot settings objects. After performing the desired operation in the manage dialog, click "OK" to save it to drawing. If "Cancel" is clicked, all the changes performed since opening this manage dialog are undone.

mouse_20 Select Plot Settings:

To select an object, click on one of the object names from the list displayed on the left hand side of the manage dialog.

 

mouse_20 View Plot Settings:

To view the properties of a plot settings object, select one from the left panel. The "Preview" section will show the selected plot settings as it will appear in drawing. All properties for the selected plot settings are displayed on the right hand side of the manage dialog.

 

btnAdd Add Plot Settings:

To add a plot settings object to the drawing, click on the add button (btnAdd) in the "Actions" section. This adds a new plot settings object to the drawing's plot settings library. By default the name property of plot settings object is set to Plot Settings<Number>.

 

btnDelete Delete Plot Settings:

To delete a plot settings object from drawing, select one from the left panel. Click on the delete button (btnDelete) in the "Actions" section. The selected plot settings will be deleted. The delete button (btnDelete) becomes unavailable when there is no plot settings selected or selected plot settings is a default created plot settings.

 

btnImportDrawing Import Plot Settings from a drawing:

To import plot settings from an existing layout, click on the import button (btnImportDrawing) in the "Actions" section. This opens an object selection dialog. After selecting desired layout click on OK and plot settings from selected layout will be added to current drawings plot settings library.
