Entity snap points are key points on any entity that draws the mouse to certain locations along drawn entities.
There are two settings for entity snap points:
This setting enables the entity snap points unless they are individually turned off using the "Enabled" property under the Snap Properties Tree.

Snap to entity center points of arc, circle, ellipse, elliptical arcs.

Insertion Point
|
Snap to insertion points (block references, hatch, facemesh, images, text, dimensions).

Nearest Point
|
Snap to nearest point on adjacent entity.
|

Node Point
|
Snap to entity nodes (point entity or dimension entity reference points).

Parallel Point
|
Snap to end point on a parallel line (when creating a line entity).
|

Perpendicular
|
Snap to an end point on a perpendicular line to adjacent entity (lines, polylines, xlines, rays, multilines, arc, circle, leader, hatch,dimension).

Polar Point
|
Snap to polar coordinates specified by polar angle (in the Snap tab).

Quadrant Point
|
Snap to quadrant (circle, arc, ellipse, elliptical arc).

|
Tangent Point
|
Snap snap tangentially to a point on an arc or circle.
|
|
Polar Angle
|
The incremental angle for polar snaps.
