Manage Named Views Tool is used to create/edit/delete View Objects.

 

Using the Manage Named Views Tool:

Find the Manage Named Views Tool icon on the Library Toolbar (color coded peach) and Click on the tool. The manage dialog will show up and for the editing of view objects. After performing the desired operation in the manage dialog, click "OK" to save it to drawing. If "Cancel" is clicked, all the changes performed since opening this manage dialog are undone.

 

 

 

Select View:

To select an object, click on one of the object names from the list displayed on the left-hand side of the manage dialog.

 

View Views:

To view the properties of a view object, select it from the left panel. The "Preview" section will show the selected view as it will appear in drawing. All properties for the selected view are displayed on the right-hand side of the manage dialog.

 

Add Views:

To add a new view objects to the drawing, click the add button ()  in the "Actions". This adds a new view to drawing's view library. By default the name property of view object is set to View<Number>.

 

Delete Views:

To delete a view object from the drawing, select one from the left panel. Click on the delete button () in the "Actions" section. The selected view will be deleted. The delete button () becomes unavailable when there is no view selected.

 

Import/Add active view from drawing:

To add/import a view from the current drawing, click on the add current button () in the "Actions" section. This creates a new view from the currently active view in the working drawing and adds it to the drawing's library.

 

Set view active in current drawing:

To activate a view in the current drawing, select a view from the left panel. Click on the set active button () in the "Actions" section. This will make currently selected view active in the working drawing.
