Angular Dimension

 Getting Started 

Angular dimensions are used for measuring and displaying inside and outside angles.

 

AngularDimension

 

In hsCADView, an angular dimension entity consists of the following data in addition to the Entity Common Data and the Dimension Common Data:

Center Point

3D Point (X, Y, Z coordinates)

Center point for angle measurement

Arc Point

3D Point (X, Y, Z coordinates)

Offset point where angle text should be displayed

Ray 1 Point

3D Point (X, Y, Z coordinates)

Point on line measuring angle

Ray 2 Point

3D Point (X, Y, Z coordinates)

Point on line measuring angle

Offset Length

Real Number

Length of dimension text offset relative to the center point.

 

 

In hsCADView the above properties are shown in the Selection Property Tree when an angular dimension entity is selected using the Selection Tool.
