Manage Layouts Tool

Manage Layouts Tool is used to create/edit/delete Layout Objects.

 

mouse_20 Using the Manage Layouts Tool:

Find the Manage Layouts Tool icon ssManageLayouts on the Library Toolbar (color coded peach) and Click on the tool. The manage dialog will show up and for the editing of layout objects. After performing the desired operation in the manage dialog, click "OK" to save it to drawing. If "Cancel" is clicked, all the changes performed since opening this manage dialog are undone.

mouse_20 Select Layout:

To select a layout, click on one of the layout names from the list displayed on the left hand side of the manage dialog.

 

mouse_20 View/Edit Layouts:

To view a layout's properties, select a layout from the left panel. The "Preview" section will show the selected layout as it will appear in drawing. All properties for selected layout are displayed on the right hand side of the manage dialog.

 

btnAdd Add Layouts:

To add new layout to drawing, click on the add button (btnAdd) in the "Actions" section. This adds a new layout to the drawing's layout library. By default the name property of a layout object is set to Layout<Number>.

 

btnDelete Delete Layouts:

To delete layout from drawing, select a layout from the left panel. Click on the delete button (btnDelete) in the "Actions" section. The selected layout will be deleted. The delete button (btnDelete) becomes unavailable when there is no layout selected or selected layout is a default layout.

 

btnImportDrawing Import Layouts from print settings:

To import layout from a print settings, click on the import button (btnImportDrawing) under "Actions" section. This opens an object selection dialog. After selecting desired print settings click on "OK" and new layout will be imported into drawings layout library.
