Manage User Coordinate Systems  Tool is used to create/edit/delete User Coordinate System Objects.

 

mouse_20 Using the Manage User Coordinate Systems Tool:

Find the Manage User Coordinate Systems Tool icon ssManageUCSs on the Library Toolbar (color coded peach) and Click on the tool. The manage dialog will show up and for the editing of UCS objects. After performing the desired operation in the manage dialog, click "OK" to save it to drawing. If "Cancel" is clicked, all the changes performed since opening this manage dialog are undone.

mouse_20 Select User Coordinate System:

To select an object, click on one of the object names from the list displayed on the left hand side of the manage dialog.

 

mouse_20 View/Edit User Coordinate on the right hand:

To view the properties of a UCS, select a user coordinate system from the left panel. The "Preview" section will show the selected user coordinate system as it will appear in the drawing. All properties for selected user coordinate system are displayed on the right hand side of the manage dialog.

 

btnAdd Add User Coordinate on the right hand:

To add a new UCS object to the drawing, click on the add button (btnAdd) in the "Actions" section. This adds a new user coordinate system to the drawing's user coordinate systems library. By default the name property of a user coordinate system object is set to "User Coordinate System<Number>".

 

btnDelete Delete User Coordinate Systems:

To delete a UCS from the drawing, select a user coordinate system from the left panel. Click on the delete button (btnDelete) in the "Actions" section. The selected user coordinate system will be deleted. The delete button (btnDelete) becomes unavailable when there is no user coordinate system selected.

 

btnAddActive Import/Add Active User Coordinate Systems From Drawing:

To add/import UCS from current drawing, left click on the add current button (btnAddActive) in the "Actions" section. This creates a new user coordinate system from currently active user coordinate system in working drawing and adds it to drawing's library.

 

btnSetActive Set User Coordinate Systems Active In Current Drawing:

To set the active UCS the in current drawing, select a user coordinate system from the left panel. Click on the set active button (btnSetActive) in the "Actions" section. This will make the currently selected user coordinate system active in the working drawing.
