Application Button

The Application Button menu has the following options available:

1.	New: Start a new drawing.

2.	Open...: Access a named drawing file previously saved.

3.	Save: Store a drawing for future access.

4.	Save As...: Store a drawing under a different file name.

5.	Import...: Import .dwf file format.

6.	Export...: Save a copy of the drawing under a different file format.

7.	Audit...: Audits a drawing for errors.

8.	Settings...: Brings up application settings.

Help...:

a. About...: Displays the about dialog that contains the program version number and license status.

b. Tutorials: This is a link to helpful tutorials on Hachisoft Corporation's website.

c. www.hachisoft.com: This is a link to the designers' of hsCADCreator homepage. Check this site for updates, version upgrades, and plugins.

d. Support: Convenient ways to request support or a new feature for our software.

e. Check for Updates: This will link you to the product website site to ensure you have the latest version of the software.

f. Remove License: Contains the ability to remove a license from a computer for use on a different computer.

f. Activate License: Opens the License management dialog.

g. Help: Activates this help documentation.

10.	Close: Terminate the current drawing file.

12.	Print / Plot: Print a drawing file.

13.	Print / Plot Preview: See beforehand how a drawing file will be printed.

14.	Layout: workspace/user interface elements.

a. Basic Layout: Changes the workspace layout to the basic window configuration.

b. Advanced Layout: Changes the workspace to the advanced window configuration where more space is designated to the drawing area.

c. Custom Layout: Allows the user to Save, Revert, Save As..., and Load From... layouts for custom user defined window configurations.

10.	Recent Files: Displays files you have recently opened for quick access.

11.	Exit: Terminate all documents as well as the program.
